First Essentials Learning Mentor Initial Training Programme:
The programme provides a balance of training sessions, individual study and reflection and work-based learning activities to help you develop the skills, knowledge and understanding to enable you to work more effectively with children and young people. The programme is compliant with the Every Child Matters Common Core Skills and Knowledge and the Children's Workforce Development Council Induction Standards and links to national occupational standards for learning, development and support services.
The course is National Qualifications Framework level 3 (A level equivalent).
