Outline

The Aimhigher Programme has the following objectives:

• Ensuring teaching staff have regularly updated information on choices and opportunities post-16.
• Promoting links between schools and colleges, in order to ensure successful transition of pupils.
• Providing support for identified Aimhigher pupils.
• Enhancing access to Higher Education for all pupils.

The Coordinators network meets twice a term to share practice, plan and organise a Y10 Conference at Kings College for Aimhigher students and evaluate progress towards targets and identification of areas for development.
